一般未处理过的 silica 和 zironium beads 由於其表面的化学特性,在破碎样品时会吸附部分 DNA、RNA 及蛋白质,可能会导致后续酵素及 PCR 分析的实验敏感性受到影响。Low Binding Beads 是经由化学处理,可以有效降低均质后的样品残留於 beads 上,并且获得更好的产量与线性结果,特别是用於 real-time PCR 此种微量敏感的实验更是不可或缺的选择。
