The FlexCycler2 Thermal Cyclers offers state-of-the-art heating and cooling rates in combination with efficient control and accuracy. The cyclers feature a large built-in graphical display for easy selection and monitoring of functions.

Each FlexCycler2 Thermal Cycler can be ordered with a block included. The blocks are interchangeable and feature automatic block recognition. Select from a variety of designs including the twin block with two 48 wells each, twin block with 30 wells each and a single block with 96 wells. The gradient function is available on the 48 well and 96 well models. The Quick-X-Change interchangeable block capability permits fast easy replacement of blocks. Additional blocks can be ordered separately.

FlexCycler2 blocks are equipped with a High Performance Smart Lid which ensures the formation of a homogenous tempered air cushion between the samples. The instrument provides excellent temperature uniformity over the entire block and reproducible PCR conditions.

The integrated software interface provides users with the selection of operating language.

Programming of temperature settings is displayed in a clearly arranged table format - Easy Spreadsheet Programming (ESP). All parameters can be set in one single screen. The software can manage up to 350 programs in 30 different user directories which can be protected by a PIN code. The software provides run-logfiles for GLP compliant documentation of PCR runs.

Additional software features include: Quick start of the 5 latest programs, program preview, toggle between easy spreadsheet and graphical programming mode, graphical display of gradients, multiblock start- and stopfunction, selection of variable heating and cooling rates, extended self test, service info file for remote diagnosis, versatile USB-functions like storage of programs, run-logfiles or SINF-files.
